Interestingly a numbers of farmers groups, NGOs and Co-Operatives have shown interest in working with MFP units for mutual advantage. MFP will deploy an Agri team for pormoting contract farming and developing linkage between farmers and processors.

  • Around 66% of the total production of fruits in the state, fruits includes Mango, Banana, Chiku, Papaya and Guava & 94% of Sugarcane.

  • Almost 37% of the pulses in the state, Tur and Udad being the important ones.

  • Exemption from Income Tax for 5 Years from commissioning date in case of a new Company (Under Sec. 80-IB)
  • Financial assistance from NABARD under food processing fund exclusively available to units in Food Parks

To Food and Agro Industries from State Government
  • Stamp Duty Exemption on Registration of Long term lease
  • Assistance of Capital Investment Subsidy: Capital Investment Subsidy @ 25% of eligible project cost subject to maximum Rs. 50 Lac
  • Assistance of Back Ended Interest Subsidy on the Term Loan for Agro and Food Processing Units: Back Ended Interest Subsidy @ 7.5% on the Term Loan with maximum amount of Rs. 1.5 Crore
  • Reimbursement of SGST: 70% of the eligible fixed capital investment made by the unit.
